The article deals with representation of emotive situations with multiple subject of state
in modern English texts. Detailed analysis of representation of emotions experienced
by a group of people engaged and not engaged in face-to-face interaction is carried out. Lexical, grammatical and stylistic means of representation of collective emotions of anger and joy in mass media texts and modern literature are described.
