Abstract. The article presents a brief theoretical analysis of the concept of “better consciousness”. Based on author’s manuscript heritage and research works of the Schopenhauer Philosophical Society, the content and the main genesis of the concept are analysed. The philosophy of better consciousness is described in the perspective of the dualistic doctrine, in which aesthetic and ethical experience represent supersensible forms of consciousness, inaccessible to sensory and rational knowledge.
