Abstract. The article considers the relevance of evaluating the results of educational activities of students at pedagogical universities and the formation of assessment skills of students majoring in Geography and Life Safety. The author describes the results of the criteria-based assessment of educational achievements of students for the discipline “Human Safety and Protection in Emergency Situations”. The advantages and disadvantages of the implemented technology are revealed.
