Abstract. Youth suicide in Russia has long been formed as a socially dangerous phenomenon, but in recent years our country has been overwhelmed by a real “suicide epidemic”.
The theme of death permeates the consciousness of many people, actualising with age.
Today, this problem covers the entire territory of the country without exception, it pen-
etrates into various regions of the Russian Federation. Of particular concern is the fact
that it affects, first of all, young people, adolescents as well as children, that is, it directly
threatens the entire society. The article discusses the true causes of this phenomenon and ways to prevent it.
