Abstract. This article discusses various aspects of the formation of the religious worldview of individuals, its impact on the livelihoods of all actors in society, and also identiȠes the reference points of the interaction between religion and science from the perspective of the followers of neo-Freudianism, highlighting possible differences due to the complexity of the integrative processes studied and, of course, the subjective human factor of perception, focusing on the key role of religion through the lens of human existence in opposition to the opinion of the founder of psychoanalysis.
