This article is devoted to the methods of development of the artistic vision forms among
students of a pedagogical university in the course of work on urban landscape. The
concept of “artistic vision” is considered and its forms are traced. The importance of the
forms of artistic vision for artistic, creative and pedagogical activities is established. An
idea of the place of the landscape genre in the system of professional art and pedagogical education is given. The author gives methodological recommendations on the use of students’ work on urban landscape for the development of their artistic vision, which can be useful in the development and substantiation of a methodological system of the development of artistic vision in future fine arts teachers.
