The article is devoted to the influence of the level of creativity on the choice of coping strategies by a person in various difficult life situations. The presented results of the empirical study demonstrate that subjects with different levels of creative abilities are characterised by different coping behaviour strategies. Individuals with a high level of creative abilities tend to choose productive coping strategies, such as strategies of “problem-solving planning”, “taking responsibility”, “positive reassessment”, while subjects with a low level of creative abilities are characterised by delay or avoidance of problem resolution.
