The article examines the dependence of the concept of the synthesis of arts from the concept of nature in Romanticism. Both are structured in a short form. It is concluded that
the concept of the synthesis of arts dating back to the 19th century is based on the romantic understanding of nature and the associated understanding of the grassroots culture.
