E-LEARNING AND FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING AT HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS BY MEANS OF LMS MOODLE

The digitalisation in education has resulted in new requirements regarding the organi-
sation of the educational process in an online environment. The establishment of both
psychological and pedagogical conditions for designing an e-learning language course
at higher educational institutions can be done with the use of LMS Moodle. The article
describes and demonstrates the functional capacity of LMS Moodle in implementing the
principles of teaching and learning foreign languages in an online environment.
