This article provides a scientific and comprehensive analysis of the quality of fine
arts education at the bachelor degree level at Jiangxi universities. The article presents
recommendations regarding possible reforms and the future development of art specialties at the undergraduate level in Jiangxi universities. Jiangxi universities generally do not differ from higher education institutions of central and western regions of China when it comes to macro-environmental factors such as economy, culture and art, therefore the issues of fine arts education are common and widespread. The reform and development trajectories proposed by the authors of the study can receive further implementation and development.
