INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS OF YOUNGER ADOLESCENTS WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF INTELLIGENCE AND FACTORS OF THEIR DETERMINATION

Interpersonal relationships develop under the influence of society, close associates and
their behaviour models, which is a factor influencing the formation of personalities of
younger adolescents, their personal and social development. Harmonious relationships
contribute to the development of effective joint actions, and failure entails a depressive
state and loss of the ability to rejoice and interact. For younger adolescents, one of the
important factors is feeling the importance of their place in peer groups. The study
examined the indicators of interpersonal relations between 10–11-year-old teenagers
with a mild degree of mental retardation and younger teenagers without intellectual
disabilities, 108 people of both sexes.
