The systems of higher art education in Europe strive for unity in terms of the structure and content of training within the framework of the Bologna Process. One of the important elements of its implementation is the introduction of the so-called modular training. Despite its implementation in the training of future artists, designers and architects on the same basis, European universities have their own approaches to this problem and use the possibilities of this method and unit of education organisation in different ways. They are related to the traditions that have developed in a particular country, as well as the social and economic context. Common to European art education is the reliance on practical creative work of students in the creation of modules and their systems, taking into account the needs of the modern labour market, as well as the concept of “continuing education”.
Keywords: educational module, art education, European education, Bologna Process,
