A Chinese folk instrumental ensemble is an important part of the traditional musical
culture, and modern national works for it are direct successors of the deep ancient
history. The ensemble contributes to the dissemination, preservation and enhancement
of the country’s national musical heritage for future generations. The pedagogical
aspect of a folk instrumental ensemble is a significant contribution and an integral
part of the Chinese national art. In the historical process, the methods of practical
training have been constantly changing and improving. At the modern level, new
effective methods come into force and help to improve the performance in a national
instrumental ensemble.
