THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND COPING STRATEGIES OF TEACHERS

The article is devoted to the study of the relationship between the level of emotional
intelligence and coping strategies of teachers. The study was conducted using standardised methods. Emotional intelligence was studied using the questionnaire “Emotional Intelligence Test, EmIn” by D. Lyusin. To study the repertoire of coping strategies, the “COPE stress coping questionnaire” (E. Rasskazova, T. Gordeeva, E. Osin) was used. The results of the study revealed the relationship between the coping strategies “Positive Reformulation and Personal Growth”, “Behavioural Avoidance of Problems” and most components of emotional intelligence.
