THE PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPETENCIES OF STUDENTS AND MANAGERS IN THE FIELD OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

The article presents the results of a study on the formation and development of managerial competence of students and managers in the field of personnel management. The author analyses managerial skills among students and managers using the “Cycle of Managerial Skills” methodology by K. L. Wilson. Based on the “Competence Model” methodology by V. N. Sofyina, the author also carries out a correlation analysis of the formation of managerial competence among students and managers, and using the correlation coefficient of C. Spearman, builds a correlation graph reflecting the relationship between the groups of competencies. The regularities of the formation and development of managerial competence in the field of personnel management have been established. The author reveals professional skills that develop in the process of professional formation of an individual. The results obtained can be used as a profile of an effective leader in selection and certification of management personnel, formation of a personnel reserve, as well as preparation of programmes for training and professional development of managers.
