The article points out that, despite the growing demand for young graduates of brass
classes, associated with the growing number of orchestra groups in China, music
education in this area suffers from unsystematic, low methodological support and the lack of innovative approaches to teaching. It does not fully take into account the contextual orientation, the physiological factor and the motivational readiness of young musicians for classes. The authors of the paper consider the most relevant principles of forming the performing apparatus of students, which must be taken into account when learning to play brass instruments. This is, in particular, the physiological predisposition of the body of a novice brass player, the problem of breathing, the gradation of mouth positions while playing. The authors pay special attention to the development of performance and interpretation qualities of students.
