PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES AND THE INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH IN TEACHING DESIGN AND DECORATIVE ART TO ADOLESCENTS IN ADDITIONAL ART EDUCATION

The concept of pedagogical technologies is considered in the paper and their special role
in the educational process is revealed. The authors analyse design and decorative art
programmes in institutions of additional art education of Saint Petersburg (clubs, circles,
centres of extracurricular work) and determine the advantage of the interdisciplinary
approach in classes of decorative art and design. The authors also describe their programme for additional art education of adolescent groups based on the interdisciplinary approach and including up-to-date pedagogical technologies.
