INDICATORS OF PROFESSIONAL DEFORMATION OF TEACHERS

The article is devoted to the study of professional deformation of teachers. The relevance
of this problem is not accidental, since the high level of deformation negatively affects
the performance. The article analyses some studies on the problem of professional
deformation and identifies empathic abilities as components of deformation. The results
of the empirical study demonstrate that teachers working in high school are more prone
to professional deformation than primary school teachers, as evidenced by the lack
of the installation channel of empathy, which is manifested in the limited emotional
responsiveness and empathic perception of teachers.
