The article is devoted to the sociocultural context of moral functioning of personality
with different types of life orientations among university students in Yakutia and Saint
Petersburg. The characteristics of the moral functioning of university students studying
in different regions were identified.
Keywords: moral sphere of personality, sociocultural differences, moral responsibility,
prosocial behaviour, standard of life (as an ideal), personality subjectivity.
