The authors of the article examine the possibilities and benefits of information and
communication technologies, describe the problems of distance learning, and, based on
the results of the study of this study format, demonstrate the dissatisfaction of students
with the technical sides of computer learning and the predominance of translation methods in the activities of teachers in classes. The authors suggest innovative approaches based on students’ independent search and counseling on overcoming difficulties in preparing individual projects and demonstrating them in remote interaction for the development of communication, creative, critical thinking and social competence of students.
