MECHANISMS OF INTERACTION OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND PRODUCTION IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ORIENTED ON THE CHOICE OF ENGINEERING PROFESSIONS

The article discusses one of the important pedagogical conditions for the implementation
of the system of extracurricular activities in the basic school, focused on choosing
engineering professions by students – the network interaction of the educational space
of school, science and industrial organisations. The mechanisms of interaction are
considered, both on the basis of the systemic formal contractual component and on the
basis of informal personal inclusion of consulting engineers in the educational process
of extracurricular activities. The author of the article proposed the developed levels
and indicators of the effectiveness of network interaction in organising extracurricular
activities, based on the density of interaction of vertical and horizontal connections.
The achieved research level of network interaction in the organisation of experimental
activities at School No. 519 of Saint Petersburg indicates the achievement of the main
goal: the creation of favourable conditions for the orientation of students towards the
choice of engineering professions and advanced engineering education of students.
