FORMATION OF SKILLS FOR CHOOSING MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT IN AEROBICS CLASSES IN MODERN CHINA

The formation of an aerobics teacher’s skills in choosing musical accompaniment is
considered in the article in the context of his/her professional competence. The quality of
lessons depends not only on the level of individual exercises, but also on the combination of each action and music. Therefore, the musical repertoire is directly determined by the physical and artistic capabilities of students and is consistent with the didactic principle “from simple to complex”, from a single movement to combined actions. Based on the theoretical and methodological approaches considered in the article, as well as her own practical teaching activities, the author formulates the following specifications for the use of music in aerobics: integration with the time constant of a musical work, students’ understanding of the structure of the dramaturgy of a musical work, the level of resonant perception of music, a clear metre-rhythmic basis of the musical work, the unity of the musical style and aerobic movements.
