The author reveals artistic expressive features and ways of creating ornaments in artistic
textiles of the Uighurs; substantiates the gradual mastery of the traditional ornamental
art; proposes an algorithm for mastering the art of ornament, including: acquaintance
with the history and traditions of artistic textiles of the Uighur people; study of ethnic
symbolism and elements of national ornament; mastering the methods of creating
simple and complex ornaments (using the author’s methods of transforming the national
ornament); formation of one’s own ornamental style based on the traditional art of the
Uighurs.
