The purpose of the article is to highlight the problem of forming professionally
important qualities of future specialists in working with personnel during training
at a military institute of the National Guard Forces Command. The authors analysed
the scientific literature and identified the relationship between the cognitive
capabilities of a person and the quality of the formation of professionally important
qualities. Based on the theoretical analysis, the authors conducted an empirical study
of the influence of subjective cognitive abilities on the formation of professionally
important qualities.
