THE MODEL OF THE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE FORMATION IN TEACHING MATHEMATICS

In this paper, a model of the communicative competence formation in the process of
teaching mathematics in higher education has been developed. The model is based on
the concept of the content of education by V. V. Kraevsky and the author’s presentation
and filling of the main blocks of the model, focused on the formation of communicative
competence in the process of teaching mathematics. Unlike the traditional implementation of the competence-based approach in higher education, this model allows you to achieve a greater effect due to the appropriate filling of all blocks of the model and maintaining continuity at all stages of the educational process. The developed model is adapted and considered in terms of one section of higher mathematics – the Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics – from the training programme for students of the Land Management and Agrotechnologies Institute of the Primorskaya State Academy of Agriculture.
