The article presents the results of a study devoted to the features of coping strategies in
selṭe-dependent students. Comparing the results of the diagnostics of selṭe addiction and manifestations of coping strategies, the authors conclude that selṭe-dependent students
are more likely to show active ways to solve emerging problems: “solution of problems”
and “search of social support”. The “problem avoidance” strategy in this sample is only
diagnosed in students who do not have signs of selṭe addiction.
