The article is devoted to the issue of providing students with an understanding of
independent life and career planning, and the study of factors of successful career guidance. The main guidelines for effective career guidance are identi墓ed. The author analyses the conditions for successful socialisation of students as a result of well-built career guidance work and describes the forms and methods of work in the main areas of career guidance activities.
