The article is devoted to the results of the experiment on the formation of foreign language competence in the professional 垹eld. The researchers set a goal to prove the necessity of the technology, which integrates learning a foreign language and professional subject activity. At the end of the experiment, the authors conduct test batteries comprising professionally-oriented tasks in order to identify real achievements of students. The research results can be used not only at the level of formed communication skills, but also at the level of students’ motivation to solve professional problems in English.
