The paper gives a brief review of aspects related to the systematisation of knowledge of
schoolchildren with learning difĉculties. The author justiĉes the possibility to create a
classiĉcation of terms of the mathematics course for 5–6th-grade schoolchildren and its
application in teaching the indicated category of children as a roadmap regardless of a
textbook and programme. The author also analyses some school textbooks.
