The paper discusses the issues related to the graphical form of the
language, expressed in the font style. Font sign, a letter, is interest-
ing as an object of design and as an object of visual art. The study
of its signifi cance in the visual communication system determines
the relevance of the topic. Along with this, the work reinterprets its
methodological signifi cance. Materials are proposed for theoretical
and practical exercises.
