The paper deals with the history of philosophical thought, the
main methodological theme of which was the role of women in
the social life and the image of women in art. The study draws a
line of consistent and continuous development of feminism, due to
which the position of women in society is constantly expanding,
and women’s images have always been the object of embodiment
in the paintings of artists, an important plot for paintings in which
expressive and vivid characters were created.
