ENGINEERING ETHICS IN THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES TO VOCATIONAL TRAINING

The article is devoted to educating engineers, forming their moral and ethical attitudes in modern technocratic conditions of the developing post-industrial society. Modern methods in technical education require the development and use of innovative pedagogical methods that combine the competency-based approach with longer-term formation of ethical personal qualities of future specialists. The article analyses the methods of engineer training in Russia, compares the approaches to the formation of ethical qualities of an engineer in various scientific engineering schools in the global market of educational engineering services, defines the ways and directions of integrating methods of engineers’ ethical and moral ideas formation in higher education pedagogics. Key words: ethics, engineer, pedagogical process, education, morality.
