MASTERING OF RELEVANT METHODOLOGIES OF EUROPEAN AND RUSSIAN MUSIC EDUCATION BY STUDENTS FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

The paper analyses the terms “conception” (“system”), “methodology” and “method”, based on the Russian and European musical and pedagogical experience of the 20th– 21st centuries. The author compares the conceptions and related methodologies of mass music education by D. Kabalevsky, Z. Kodály and C. Orff. The analysis is aimed to reveal modern relevant methodologies in the variety of Russian and European scientific approaches, which future music teachers should master. The author shows the necessity to develop new methodologies adapted to special musical and pedagogical training of Chinese students studying in Russia. These new methodologies include mastering of integrative music-oriented multiartistic activities which are highly sought-after in the pedagogical field of China.
