PREFERENCES FOR THE CHOICE OF TRAINING AREAS FOR STUDENTS WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL STABILITY

The relevance of the study is due to the investigation of preferences for the choice of training areas of students with different levels of psychological stability. The paper shows the need to develop psychological stability in students in order to identify functional capabilities in activities through the prism of self-regulation and self-government systems. The author applies the convergent approach, which gives an opportunity to note the development of psychological stability of students, and the principle of configuration made it possible to identify individual psychological abilities in preference for the choice of students’ training directions. The author presents the results of the study of the focus on training or work among high school students with different levels of psychological stability and personal profiles of social realisation. The article provides necessary information for researchers, teachers and psychologists, postgraduate students and heads of educational organisations, who are interested in students’ own positions, activities, and individual differences.
