The article presents a comparative analysis of the theoretical knowledge on physical
culture obtained in a lecture course. The researchers analysed the test results in the
end of the course and intermediate knowledge in the form of tests and presentations
on the topics of lectures of the third- and fourth-year students of the Ural State Uni-
versity of Architecture and Arts. Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusions
are made.
