The article deals with the phenomenon of a “digital human” being formed in conditions of
the modern digital society development and its typical way of virtual being. The change
of communication priorities is analysed. It is associated with the spread of the digital
means of communication, info-communication technologies and online communication
carried out with their help. The author distinguishes positive and negative consequences
of the shift of the main part of interpersonal communication to virtual reality.
