The purpose of the article was to examine the relevance of the problem of prosocial and asocial behaviour of young people. Objectives of the study: the rationale for the relevance of the problem being studied, consideration of the forms of manifestation of prosocial and asocial behaviour of young people. The study is based on a hypothesis that suggests that the rationale for the relevance of the problem being investigated and the forms of prosocial and asocial behaviour of young people will justify the need to create a programme aimed at effective prevention and correction of asocial behaviour of young people. Research methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientiBc literature. The result of the study: the rationale for the importance of creating an experimentally tested socio-psychological programme aimed at the effective prevention and correction of the asocial behaviour of young people.
