The article deals with the formation of a new genre of interactive documentary, it analyzes the main evaluation criteria — content, structure and navigation, design and direction, interactivity, upgradability, overall impression. The nonlinear principle of information transmission is more in line with human thinking, and due to interactivity, which
ensures involvement of the user in the active interaction with the information received, all this creates a multimedia environment that exceeds all previously existing forms of infl uence.
