The article reviews the new paradigm of art teaching at regular schools. It is based on the integration of the culturological, anthropological and consistent activity approaches. In
quest of a brand new mechanism of cooperation with art, intended to overcome teenagers’ alienation from the educational process, the authors make a conclusion: art is no longer a method of personal features development or a subject matter in the modern educational process. It is being transformed into a process – evolving cultural and anthropological practice, with the following goals: establishment of cultural self-determination, selfdevelopment, and genesis of an inner Self image.
