The article is devoted to the operations of the German light forces (torpedo-boat destroyers, torpedo boats and torpedo vessels and motorboats) in the English Channel during the Second World War from the capitulation of France till the end of 1940. The author analyses the minelaying operations and acts against the British marine; special attention is paid to the military collisions with British ships.
