The paper concerns the fact that there is a gradual transition from the methodological
perspective to the philosophical problematics in the Russian philosophy of economics.
The publication of A. Orekhov’s book “Philosophy of Economics in Russia. The Birth of
the Tradition” became conBrmation and development of these trends. The paper presents a critical analysis of the basic provisions of this book.
