The paper describes the directions of the development of vocational training in the school – higher educational institution – production system in the modern social and economic conditions. The attention is paid to the unity of the main components of the scientific, educational and production processes when training future experts in the system of continuous education. The author proposes the directions of improvement of professional education in the conditions of modernisation of the continuous education system and integration into digital economy taking into account the factors influencing the formation of value orientations of future experts. Axiologisation of the content of educational activity requires the development of a complex of scientific and methodological support aimed at successful professional and axiological selfdetermination of future experts.
