The historical-revolutionary theme, being a very important stage in
the development of prose, received a vivid artistic embodiment in the
1960s–1980s. It refl ects the complex processes of development of a
new person. This trend is especially noticeable in the works of the
second half of the twentieth century.The research is aimed at deter-
mining the development features of historical-revolutionary prose in
national literature. The subject of the study is the works of Adyghe
writers about the revolutionary past of the nation. The objective is
to identify the ideological and thematic identity of the works on the
historical-revolutionary theme.
