The article considers the phenomenon of part-writing, which is manifested in conditions of the polyphonic sound texture. Part-writing is connected with the polyphonic and harmonious way of music writing. The author suggests considering the part-writing in the context of a broader phenomenon — sound linking, as well as in the aspect of
mode and texture.
