The article discusses the necessity to identify and study the factors affecting the
mutual tolerability of research results in the Beld of psychology and other fundamental
disciplines, taking into account the time periods of their development. In particular, the
author discusses a thesis that in relation to psychological research, “information” should
be understood only as knowledge that is meaningful to the human psyche and expressed in some sign system.
