Effective management of the process of research, introduction and implementation of
commercialisation of innovations is a key factor in functioning of housing and utilities
units related to innovative work. Certain components of this conception have chances
to interact with each other in housing and utilities companies. For example, the stage
of innovation research can be replaced with various methods of company management,
appropriate technical documents or new research and technology equipment, which is
needed for innovative renewal of the housing and utilities industry. The commercialisa-
tion stage appears only if the latest studies of the technical and technological processes
have been carried out in a company, including methods of managing a company and its
technological process, so that innovations activate the interest of various companies and
have all chances to be a new product in company management.
Key words: renewal, housing and utilities companies, services, privatisation, techni-
