FORMING THE SOCIAL IMMUNITY OF YOUNG PEOPLE BY MEANS OF RECREATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

The article analyses the concepts of “recreation”, “health”, “social immunity” and their 
basic characteristics. Factors of health, recreational behaviour, types and functions of 
social immunity are examined. The author considers important questions of forming the 
social immunity taking into account the needs of young people in realisation of recrea-
tion programmes. Special attention is paid to standards of quality of the programmes that 
are realised in leisure and recreation centres.
