The article deals with the creation of an artistic situation at art lessons, where a subject
teacher uses problem-based learning with a research element – a hypothesis, which
activates thinking among 8th–9th-form students of secondary schools. The author touches upon logical (conceptual) and figurative (visual) thinking to create or solve problem tasks, since it is possible to determine the stages of implementation in a training creative situation.
