ELECTRONIC ENVIRONMENT FOR SUPPORTING STUDENTS’ EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

 The article is focused on the extracurricular activities of students, which are understood
as a special type of activity for education, socialisation and professionalisation. Areas
and types of extracurricular activities are allocated from different positions: additional
education, social, creative, scientific, sporting activities. The author analyses the
compliance of extracurricular activities with modern information and communication
behaviour and educational needs of young people. The author also analyses electronic
media and reveals the most effective models of their development as well as forms of
support and reflection of extracurricular activities. Support and reflection of students’
extracurricular activities is realised in the electronic environment of universities –
through sites and social media and university media resources.
