PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF TEACHERS USING DIFFERENT METHODS OF PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY

 The article shows the results of the study on in-depth psychological features of Russian
teachers who apply different methods of pedagogical activity, identified by the degree of
stimulation of students’ activity. The results showed that the teachers who applied active
methods of pedagogical activity are characterised by personal parameters reflecting
a more favourable level of their professional and personal identity. On the contrary,
the teachers who preferred to apply passive methods showed personal parameters that
constrained the development of their professional identity.
